Top 5 things I learned on the Internet

1. Photos to advertise products are a lie

I learned that if you are going to buy something off the internet,  do not trust the photo because it will just be a twisted perspective sometimes to make it seem better than it actually is. Always look at the comments and also at other similar products. I bought a bracelet from an overseas store in China and the bracelet was exactly how it looked, just thinner, it wasn’t as large as it appeared.

2. Movie trailers are terrible

As I’ve traveled the internet in my free time, I also learned that movie trailers are absolutely horrible sometimes. I will never watch a movie trailer for anything willingly because it tends to spoil and ruin some of the most amazing scenes in a movie. I will watch a teaser but never a full trailer. One of the most horrible spoiler-type trailers i’ve ever seen would have to be Terminator 2 Judgement Day. That trailer ruined the fact that T-1000 was a good guy in the movie.

3.The Internet is flawed

Another thing that I learned from the internet is, it’s still a growing technology, there are gonna be flaws and mistakes and screw-ups here and there, but no one cares. Well im sure there are a few people, but the majority of the internet is very inconsiderate and wants everything perfect. They also just love to say/debate about nothing related to the article/video/subject matter.

4. Don’t trust strangers

I learned that you cannot trust a stranger just because they talk about past “experiences” or if they have pictures of themselves. There are a lot of people that will manipulate you just because they are bored, because they want money, or because they are psychotic.

5. Pursuing Achievement Hunter

The last most important thing is that if you tape yourself doing it, people will watch it. No matter what you are doing how boring or disgusting it is, someone will watch it, and they might even pay for it. I found a internet studio called Roosterteeth. Its probably the first internet studio of its kind. They first made a machinima show called Red vs. Blue and they are now on their 11th season. They also grew from their first show and made many other machinima shows and real-life shows as well. They are my main source of entertainment and I strive to be a part of it. I mainly want to be a part of Achievement Hunter because it seems like the kind of job I would be good at doing. Achievement hunter is a part of Roosterteeth but its more focused on video games. Achievement Hunter plays video games in a LAN Play style way called a Lets play. This a famous and favorite way of gaming videos on youtube and many other websites. The play all sorts of different games ranging from sports to first-person shooters to Minecraft, a favorite game of many gamers because you can literally create anything. Achievement hunter’s videos gets millions of views because they are just a funny group of people playing a stupid/amazing game acting stupid and funny. I learned that the internet is an outlet from these people. I realized that no matter what my dream is, as long as i have faith in it and passion, i can do it and i can find a way to support myself by doing it.
