Three grown men are trying to figure out romance while they attempt to keep their bachelorhood to commit to their bet.

“That Awkward Moment” begins with Jason (Zac Efron) while he sits on a park bench and flashbacks to the beginning of his women troubles. Jason hates holding down a relationship; he’ll say he’s not looking for anything serious and sees the women as a hook up when he feels like it, so he seems like a complete and utter jerk

Jason is the alpha male out of his two friends: Mikey (Michael B. Jordan) and Daniel (Miles Teller). He tells them about how women perceive relationships differently and how nothing good comes from the words “so where is this going.” After Michael was hit with a surprise divorce with his wife who had been having an affair, Jason improvised a plan. All three friends pledge to remain single as long as possible.

Shortly after the bet was made, they all proceed to their local bar, where they picked up women for nothing more than a one-night stand. The bet begins to fall apart as each have secretly fallen for a girl.

Each man tries to keep their prospering relationship away from each other.

Months pass, when Thanksgiving came all three of the men grieve over their mistakes of their not so secret anymore relationships, which is an awkward moment.

If you liked the movie “The Hangover” then you’ll like “That Awkward Moment”. The Hangover is a comedy with three friends who were at a bachelor party the night before their friend’s wedding. Suffering from their hangovers, they have no recollection what happened last night and they have to attempt to find the missing groom before the wedding begins.

“That Awkward Moment” is rated R for sexual content and language throughout the movie. Not recommendable to take younger siblings or kids to, but an entertaining movie to watch for mature audiences. The run time is 94 minutes long, so is a relatively short movie.

This movie had a good storyline and life lesson but I wish it involved less bedroom scenes. That’s the only downside to the movie otherwise I would have enjoyed watching it, except for the fact my mom took me to see the movie.

For the parents that took their kids to see the movie, well that’s one awkward moment.
