‘Twisted’ is more twisted than it seems
Imagine waking up one day to hang out with your friends, then finding out that your closest friend killed their relative. Your own best friend is a murderer, and is sent to juvie for five long years. Then when the friends finally returns, everyone strongly believes that they are the true murderer. Well that is what “Twisted”, is all about.
The beginning of season two just came out as of February 11th, and there is a showing every Tuesday. During the beginning of season one, Danny, the main character, is framed for the murder of his own aunt, Tara. As the season progresses after the flashback, the people of Green Grove is set out to make sure that the whole town agrees he is definitely guilty. People wanted him to be guilty, so the chaos went behind the town. The exact opposite happened when another murder was committed and he was framed yet again. Now, in season two, they have now cleared his slate and everyone had found out he had been framed.
I love this TV show because it gets you on the edge of your seat, and it gets difficult to even think about detaching yourself from your favorite character. Danny (Avan Jogia) is the “hot character” according to most fans, but I just happened to fall in love with Rico (Ashton Moio) because of his nerdy shyness, and his extremely adorable smile.
Being on the edge of your seat means having your knees pulled up to your chest, finger nails digging into a pillow that you’re cuddling with, and having wide, dry eyes. Your heart is pounding from the fast scenes that are flashing on the screen, the dramatic screams make you quiver. When Jo is running through the woods trying to get away, and then suddenly comes to a hault at the end of the cliff, it made my heart race and I released a small squeal. Being on the edge of your seat is a very different adrenaline rush from running, and by watching “Twisted” I achieved the adrenaline easily.
Overall “Twisted” is a great TV show to watch because who doesn’t like to watch dramatic unfortunate events that would never happen to the average teenager? Don’t forget about the hotties though!
