1. Getting a new sister

I have been an only child all my life, so when I found out that my dad and his girlfriend were having a little girl I was ecstatic. When I first saw her after she was born I couldn’t believe how small and precious she was. Having her in our lives have brought our families closer than ever.

2. Going to my first rock concert

At the end of August my dad got us V.I.P. concert ticket to “Aftershock”, a two day all day event, were some of my all time favorite bands, such as Papa Roach, Sklillet, POD, and many others.I had been wanting to see Papa Roach sense I was seven years old and when the moment finally came I knew I would remember the that moment vividly for the rest of  my life.

3.Getting my permit

My best experience that changed my life in 2013 was getting my permit. It felt like a huge accomplishment and was something I had looked forward to for an extremely long time. Every time I look at it it makes me want to smile remembering how scared I was that I was going to fail it despite the fact that I knew all the information. When I held it my hands for the first time I even did a happy dance in front of the crowded DMV.

4.Moving into a house

In 2013 for the first time in my life I moved into a house. All my life I had lived in apartments, a duplex, or at my grandma’s house. When my Mom and I found out that we got the house there were no words to describe my feelings. I felt like a little kid that wanted to stay up all night waiting for Christmas because I knew the next day we would start moving in.

5. Going Crabbing

Going crabbing down at Bodega Bay with my family and friends was another one of my top five moments. I had never been crabbing before and the thought didn’t interest me much until we got there and the action started. Seals were everywhere trying to sneak their way underneath the nets to steal the nasty salmon fish heads that attract the crabs. It was amazing to see all the starfish and climb on the jete with a beautiful view to look at.
