On Sept. 18 around 10:30 a.m. Apple released iOS7 the new update that would change everything. This update has been downloaded about 200 million times around the world, and there are mixed reviews on whether apple users love it or hate it. With many reviews on feeling “seasick” and “hot- headed”, apple has started a fire with the new makeup of the iPhone.

“I think its cool, it has pros and cons, but I like the design of the apps better than iOS6,”  Kelsey Ulep said.

Many customers of apple have been reacting the same way giving off a vibe where they’re not sure if they’re completely comfortable with it or just straight up done with it.

“I love the new design it make everything look way more clean and organized,” Tyler Kim said.

Consumers around the world have found lots to love as the new update gives many new tools such as; smarter multitasking, a more developed control center, and a more unique notification center. These are only some of the many new things that come along with iOS7. But with the good there is also bad.

“The only thing I really dislike about iOS7 is the way the messages look. It’s probably just a weird preference but I liked the way the old iMessage looked,”  Briana Jill said.

Many people have found flaws all over the update from glitches to wallpaper placement, making others wonder if updating their iPhone was even worth it.

“When I try and set a picture as my wallpaper, it zooms in a lot. I hate it,” Ulep said.

According to an article from Top News, cases of “seasickness” has affected others when the apps “zoom” in and out, which is also known as animations. Users have found that just using their iPhone for a couple of minutes can lead to dizziness and nausea! To this, Apple has released iOS7.0.2 to help fix bugs and the lock screen, but has it helped with any of the other problems? No! For some just turning on their iPhone can be a complete nightmare. With all of these mixed reviews about the update it’s basically on a 50/50 scale.

“I would never go back to iOS6, I like iOS7 better,” Kim said.

Maybe because we are all so used to iOS6, do we all just need some time to adjust? Or is iOS7 too different and too difficult? Around the world there are many wondering if this will get any better but also many who are happy just the way it is.
