As the weather warms up, spring fever sets in and students are anticipating the break to come.
Anna Bare, Katie Becker, Erin Hobson and Allison Souza are all going to mexico over spring break, but this isn’t a vacation for these ladies.
Bayside Church, in Granite Bay, travels down to Mexico every spring break to serve the local people and this year over 800 people in the local community are going.
Both Bare and Hobson love going to Mexico during this break because they like to make a difference.
“It is fun and I like hanging out with kids and making a difference,” Bare said.
“I feel like it’s going to make an impact in the children’s life. It is a good use of my spring break. It is better than sitting around doing nothing,” Hobson said.
Shania Morrill is spending two days of her break in San Francisco doing what she calls “cool stuff.”
“I’m visiting family and sightseeing…I’m excited because I’ll finally be able to go to Chinatown!” Morrill said.
Haley Barker is taking a week long trip to San Diego with a friend to tour colleges, something that is a common among juniors.
“I’m going down to look at colleges, go to the beach, and try surfing! I want to look at UCSD (specifically) and surfing is on my bucket list,” Barker said.
No matter what people are doing during spring break, the time off is bound to be awesome!
