The time, pain, and dull complex method of sending pictures the normal way is history. Now, there’s a much more faster, easier, exciting way to send pictures with Snapchat!
With over a million downloads and 50 million snaps shared every day in only a couple of months, Snapchat has been all the rage. Snapchat is the latest app where you have the ability to snap a quick photo, and send to one or multiple friends in a matter of seconds. Not only can you just send photos through snapchat now, but you can send videos as well that can last up to ten seconds. It is currently available for iPhone, Android, iPod touch (all generations), iPad, and the iPad mini as well. However, internet access is required.
Snapchat is categorized as photo and video, and was made in October of 2012 by Evan Spielgel and Bobby Murphy. Moreover, the newest video update was launched in December of 2012. It is for anyone and can be used for practically anything, whether it be business related or just for fun. Users that downloaded snapchat also downloaded a few apps that are similar such as NikonSpots, Sh8er, and MiLi Photo.
A lot of people have asked questions such as, what’s so special about Snapchat or what’s the point of it? The answer to both of those questions would be that there really is no point or special quirk about the app. It is simply all about sharing moments right as they happen. Once you start using snapchat, you can never stop. By being able to snap a photo and send it to one or multiple people all at once, you can get addicted fast. You can also add text with the photo as well just by clicking on the photo after it is taken.
Snapchat just came out with a new update not too long ago, where you can also take videos. The new video update is also quite addictive, and the best part is, to take a video, it is the same button you use for taking a photo. When taking a video, you press and hold down on the button, and start recording. If you are the type of person that loves sending pictures to your friends, then Snapchat is nothing but perfect for you. It is a lot quicker and easier than taking a photo with your camera on your phone, and then sending it.
