Men’s varsity soccer beats Roseville 2-1

In their first home game of the season, the men’s varsity soccer team played Roseville Dec. 4. The team is led by captains Zachary Mason, Marcus Tovar and Ryan King. The Wildcats won 2-1.

To promote Multicultural Week April 21 Destinee Kombo and Rebecca Alferos paint a poster. From 9:00 to noon, members from Black Student Union, Asian Youth Leadership Association, Multicultural Club and Hispanic and Latin Culture Club help set up by designing banners, chalking the sidewalk and setting up decorations on trees on campus.

Walking out with her family, Gabby Starr leans in for a hug and kiss from her father. “My dad has influenced me a lot, especially in soccer. He played college soccer at the same place I'm going to play, Chico State. He also played semi-pro out of college. That has always been a goal of mine to get to the level he did and play with the passion he did,” Starr said.
