Volunteers reach out to Sacramento homeless

In Sacramento, the unsheltered homeless rate is 56 percent, with a chronic rate of 31 percent. Every day, students and their families drive by homeless individuals, and many do not notice or take action. These people photographed are just some of many without homes.

To promote Multicultural Week April 21 Destinee Kombo and Rebecca Alferos paint a poster.
